Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Auckland (D)
Welcome to New Zealand! On arrival you will be met and transferred* to your hotel.
Two Night Stay: Auckland

Day 2: Auckland (FB)
SCENIC FREECHOICE choose from: (1) Skytower tour; or (2) Kelly Tarlton’s; or (3) Auckland city tour; or (4) cruise to Waiheke Island; or (5) cruise on Auckland Harbour; or (6) Wilderness Experience; or (7) sail an America’s Cup yacht.  (Must be pre-booked).

Day 3: Auckland – Omapere (FB,D)
This morning head north and tour the Kauri Pioneer Museum. Travel to the Waipoua Forest.  SCENICENRICH Meet your Maori guide at the mighty Tane Mohuta Kauri tree and learn the story of its importance to the Maori culture. Tonight enjoy dinner at your hotel with entertainment by local musicians.

Day 4: Omapere – Bay of Islands (FB,HD)
Today visit the sub-tropical paradise of the Bay of Islands and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. This afternoon cruise across the bay to Cape Brett Lighthouse and through the famous Hole in the Rock (weather permitting).  Tonight enjoy your SCENIC FREECHOICE Dinner choose from: (1) Sound & Light Show; or (2) Local Restaurant; or (3) Waitangi River Cruise.

Day 5: Bay of Islands (FB)
SCENIC FREECHOICE choose from: (1) Cape Reinga tour; or (2) Russell and Pompallier tour; or (3) Darryl’s Lunch Cruise; or (4) Perfect Day Cruise; or (5) fishing in the bay; or (6) swim with the dolphins; or (7) On the Edge sailing; or (8) 18 holes of golf.

Day 6: Bay of Islands – Auckland (FB,HD)
Travel to Whangarei and Warkworth before returning to Auckland. Tonight enjoy your SCENIC FREECHOICE Dinner choose from: (1) SBF Brasserie; or (2) Barolo Restaurant.

Day 7: Auckland – Rotorua (FB,HL)
SCENICENRICH Today visit Longlands Homestead, a working dairy farm for a guided tour followed by a home cooked roast lamb lunch. Afterwards visit Whakarewarewa Village and see the Pohutu Geyser.

Day 8: Rotorua (FB,HD)

Day 9: Rotorua – Napier (FB,HD)
Visit Huka Falls and Lake Taupo. Continue to Napier. SCENICENRICH Late afternoon tour an award winning local Hawkes Bay winery and taste some fine New Zealand wines followed by a private dinner in the Winery restaurant.

Day 10: Napier – Wellington (FB,D)
Travel to Wellington and on arrival take a guided tour of Te Papa, New Zealand’s National Museum.

Day 11: Wellington – Christchurch (FB,D)
This morning board the InterIslander ferry and cruise Marlborough Sounds. SCENICENRICH Onboard Scenic Tours’ guests have access to the Kaitaki Premier Plus Lounge. Travel along the east coast to Christchurch, including a short stop at Kaikoura seal colony.

Day 12: Christchurch (FB)
