Day 1: Auckland (HD)
Welcome to New Zealand! On arrival you will be met and transferred* to the hotel. Tonight meet your Tour Director for a welcome briefing.  Tonight enjoy your SCENIC FREECHOICE Dinner choose from: (1) SBF Brasserie; or (2) Barolo Restaurant.

Day 2: Auckland – Rotorua (FB,HL)
SCENICENRICH Today visit Longlands Homestead, a working dairy farm for a guided tour followed by a home cooked roast lamb lunch. Afterwards visit Whakarewarewa Village and see the Pohutu Geyser.

Day 3: Rotorua (FB,HD)

Day 4: Rotorua – Napier (FB,HD)
Visit Huka Falls and Lake Taupo. Continue to Napier. SCENICENRICH Late afternoon tour an award winning local Hawkes Bay winery and taste some fine New Zealand wines followed by a private dinner in the Winery restaurant.

Day 5: Napier – Wellington (FB,D)
Travel to Wellington and on arrival take a guided tour of Te Papa, New Zealand’s National Museum.

Day 6: Wellington – Christchurch (FB,D)
This morning board the InterIslander ferry and cruise Marlborough Sounds. SCENICENRICH Onboard Scenic Tours’ guests have access to the Kaitaki Premier Plus Lounge. Travel along the east coast to Christchurch, including a short stop at Kaikoura seal colony.

Day 7: Christchurch – Franz Josef (FB,HD)
Today enjoy an unforgettable journey through the Southern Alps on the TranzAlpine railway. Disembark at Arthur’s Pass and continue by coach to stop and view the awesome Franz Josef Glacier. Tonight settle into your accommodation at the luxurious Te Waonui Forest Retreat. This evening enjoy a gourmet menu, created from fresh local produce.

Day 8: Franz Josef – Queenstown (FB)
A highlight today is an exhilarating jet boat ride on the mighty Haast River in Mount Aspiring National Park. Visit picturesque Lake Wanaka enroute to Queenstown.

Day 9: Queenstown (FB,HD)

Day 10: Queenstown (FB)
Today enjoy the day to explore at your own pace.

Day 11: Queenstown – Te Anau (FB,D)
Experience an unforgettable cruise on Milford Sound, the most accessible of Fiordland’s magnificent glacier-carved fiords. Tonight enjoy a four course a la carte dinner.

Day 12: Te Anau – Dunedin (FB,D)
Cruise across Lake Te Anau and explore the Glowworm Caves. Continue to historic Dunedin.

Dunedin Home Stay: Opportunity to experience the warmth and hospitality of a local family during an overnight Home Stay. Included at no extra cost but must be pre-booked.

Day 13: Dunedin – Lake Tekapo (FB,D)
Take a Dunedin city sights tour before heading north, to the famous Moeraki Boulders, then stop to view Mount Cook (subject to weather). Continue to your hotel on the shores of Lake Tekapo.

Day 14: Lake Tekapo – Christchurch (FB,HD)
This morning view the Church of the Good Shepherd then continue to Christchurch. SCENICENRICH A tour highlight begins aboard the historic Christchurch Tram for drinks and canapés, then continue to an intimate local restaurant for a private farewell dinner.

Day 15: Christchurch (FB)

SCENIC FREECHOICE choose from (1) Punting on the Avon River; or (2) a tram sightseeing pass; or (3) the Antarctic Centre; or (4) Botanic gardens tour; or (5) a guided bike tour.  Tour concludes this afternoon when you are transferred* to the airport for your homeward flight (please book flights from 2pm onwards).
