Scenic Tours had the pleasure of inviting Dermott Brereton, presenter for Chanel 9’s Getaway on board Holland America’s ms Zuiderdam as he took part in the 7 night Alaskan Cruise.
Settling into a Verandah Stateroom, Dermott enjoyed dinners of mouth watering delights, as featured in all Scenic Tours’ tours and cruises.
The highlight of Getaways time with Scenic Tours was the spectacular glaciers of Glacier Bay, where the cruise ship glides through the iceberg-strewn waters where a National Park Service Ranger helped the Getaway team spot wildlife, while pointing out sights and explaining glacier activity.
The Getaway team also spent time visiting the fishing town of Ketchikan – the Salmon capital of the world.
