This year we set an unprecedented level of luxury for Europe River Cruising with a $10 million rebuild to our world-class fleet of Scenic ‘Space-Ships’, which range in age from 18 months to just four years.
From this year we will operate the newest fleet delivering the next generation of luxury on Europe’s grand waterways with uncompromising attention to detail, quality, inclusions and service.
Our ships sailing along the Rhine, Main, Moselle, Danube and Black Sea routes will showcase the best in innovation and top design, promising the ultimate luxury experience wherever and whenever you cruise with us.
In 2014 we will now proudly operate a fleet of eight new and innovative Scenic ‘Space-Ships’ including Scenic Gem, designed and built for our new Seine River Cruise.

Our impressive fleet of Scenic ‘Space-Ships’ boasts seven of the finest river cruisers in Europe, including Scenic Jewel, Scenic Crystal, Scenic Ruby, Scenic Diamond, Scenic Sapphire, Scenic Pearl and Scenic Emerald, which will exclusively sail the waterways of Southern France from 2013. Also in 2014, our eighth Scenic ‘Space-Ship, Scenic Gem will also join our fleet.
Spectacular Cruising
The best way to soak up the ever-changing views that unfold along the Rhine, Maine and Danube rivers from the canal city of Amsterdam to beautiful Budapest, or along the Rhine and Moselle rivers from Amsterdam to the stunning Swiss city of Basel is on a Scenic Cruise.
Built specifically to sail the historic waters of the Seine, our newest Scenic 'Space-Ship', Scenic Gem will take her inaugural cruise in 2014 on the 11 Day Gems of the Seine River Cruise.
With the same space ratio as our 'Space-Ships' but built for the inimate number of 126 guests at 110 metres long, Scenic Gem will be the most spacious river cruiser on the Seine. Scenic Gem boasts all the luxury inclusions synonymous with Scenic 'Space-Ships'; Scenic 'Sun Lounges', unlimited complimentary beverages and private butler service.
We also offer truly spectacular cruising through the incredible Iron Gate from Serbia to Romania and through the Black Sea and Baltic States, plus the unforgettable Gallipoli Peninsula.
And the truly diverse sights from St. Petersburg to Moscow unfold along Russia’s waterways including the Neva River and Lake Ladoga on board our new small ship, Scenic Tsar.
