This 15 day trip explores Eastern Canada from Toronto to Québec City, before joining a cruise from Montréal to Boston including Prince Edward Island and Bar Harbor.

This fabulous 15 day tour starts in Canada’s largest city Toronto followed by a trip south to the picturesque village of Niagara-on-the-Lake and the famous and breathtaking Niagara Falls. Next you will journey to Kingston for a cruise through the Thousand Islands marking the border between Canada and the United States.

Roaming through the Canadian capital, Ottawa you will witness the imposing Parliament Buildings and Government House, then meet local wildlife at Parc Omega. You will taste traditional Québécois fare at a local Sugar Shack and continue onto Québec City, the only walled city in North America. En route to Montréal you will stop at the spectacular falls, Parc des Chutes de la Chaudière and in the historic city will visit the exquisite Notre-Dame Basilica.

Next, board the Holland America Line ship ms Maasdam back to Québec City and sail through the stunning Gulf of St Lawrence where you will meet whales, porpoises and seals. You will also stop at the charming city of Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island and the port of Sydney on Cape Breton Island. Next is the capital of Nova Scotia, Halifax before entering the waters of the United States at Bar Harbor. Your final destination is beautiful Boston.

Day 1: Toronto
Welcome to Toronto. Your Scenic Representative will personally meet you and transfer* you to your hotel (please book your flight to arrive no later than 5pm).
Two Night Stay: The Fairmont Royal York Hotel
Day 2: Niagara Falls - Toronto (B,D)
Ascend 346m to the observation deck at the top of CN Tower. After briefly touring the lakefront and downtown Toronto continue to the village of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Board the Niagara Falls cruise venturing under the dramatic falls.
Day 3: Algonquin Provincial Park - Ottawa (B)
Today we head through Algonquin Provincial Park, home to a diverse range of plant and animal species. Algonquin was the first provincial park in Ontario offering protection of a variety of natural and cultural features. It is best known by visitors for its opportunity to spot moose.
Two Night Stay: Fairmont Château Laurier
Day 4: Ottawa (B,D)
Roam through Canada’s capital city of Ottawa whilst enjoying an interpretive guided tour including the imposing Parliament Buildings, Government House and the official residence of the Prime Minister. SCENIC FREE CHOICE (1) Canadian Museum of History; or (2) ByWard Market Culinary tour; or (3) visit the War Museum; or (4) Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride Stables; or (5) National Gallery of Canada; or (6) self guided cycle. Day 5: Ottawa - Montebello (B,D)
SCENIC ENRICH Tour the 1,500 acre Park Omega and discover native wildlife such as bear, wolves, wapitis, red deer and beavers. SCENIC FREE CHOICE Dining tonight, choose where to dine from a selection of restaurants.

Day 6: Québec City (B,L,D)
SCENIC ENRICH Taste traditional Québécois fare at a local Sugar Shack where your lunch is included today. Sample the delicacies of this region and learn about one of Canada’s most popular exports, maple syrup. Continue to Québec City, the only walled city in North America and an important World Heritage listed site. SCENIC ENRICH Tour within the walls of the Vieux Carré (Old City) and visit the Lower Town.
Two Night Special Stay: Fairmont Le Château Frontenac
Day 7: Québec City (B)
SCENIC FREE CHOICE (1) an informative guided walking tour through the cobbled streets of Québec City; or (2) relax on a sightseeing tour of the quaint streets of Old Québec on board a horse and carriage ride; or (3) Massage at Le Château Frontenac; or (4) sample authentic, gourmet delicacies on a walking tour of Québec City; or (5) heli flightseeing over Québec City. This afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Perhaps take the funicular to the Lower Town and continue exploring this enchanting village.       
Day 8: Québec City - Montréal (B,D)
Visit the exquisite Notre-Dame Basilica with its imposing Gothic Revival architecture in Old Montréal and the only ‘Holy Door’ outside Europe. This afternoon, explore this historic and vibrant city throughout a guided tour. Enjoy dinner this evening with your Tour Director and fellow travellers.

Day 9: Canada New England Cruise (B,D)
Transfer to the pier and board the Holland America Line ship ms Maasdam. Settle into your Verandah Stateroom (subject to availability) for an unforgettable cruise.
Day 10: Québec City (B,L,D)
Today spend time in Québec City with a choice of shore excursion’s (shore excursions at own expense).
Day 11: Gulf of St. Lawrence (B,L,D)
Admire the stunning coast line as you cruise the largest estuary in the world and the gateway to the interior of North America.
Day 12: Charlottetown (B,L,D)
Arrive into the charming city of Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island, home of ‘Anne of Green Gables’.
Day 13: Sydney, Cape Breton Island (B,L,D)
