Next you will journey to Kingston for a cruise through the Thousand Islands marking the border between Canada and the United States.
Roaming through the Canadian capital, Ottawa you will witness the imposing Parliament Buildings and Government House, then meet local wildlife at Parc Omega. You will taste traditional Québécois fare at a local Sugar Shack and continue onto Québec City, the only walled city in North America. En route to Montréal you will stop at the spectacular falls, Parc des Chutes de la Chaudière and in the historic city will visit the exquisite Notre-Dame Basilica.
Next, board the Holland America Line ship ms Maasdam back to Québec City and sail through the stunning Gulf of St Lawrence where you will meet whales, porpoises and seals. You will also stop at the charming city of Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island and the port of Sydney on Cape Breton Island. Next is the capital of Nova Scotia, Halifax before entering the waters of the United States at Bar Harbor. Your final destination is beautiful Boston.
