This 37 day grand tour includes the Rockies and British Columbia, a luxury Alaskan cruise, Niagara Falls, Montréal, Québec City, Washington D.C., New York and Boston.

This 37 day adventure starts in Victoria, Canada where you will visit the world famous Butchart Gardens before heading to Whistler, stopping off at the awesome Shannon Falls. From Whistler you will head to Hat Creek Ranch and Sun Peaks and travel through the Cariboo region en route to Jasper.

Next, you will journey south along the Icefields Parkway taking in the mighty Athabasca Glacier before arriving at Lake Louise and Banff. Here you will ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain and start the incredible Rocky Mountaineer rail journey to Vancouver via Kamloops. Visit Vancouver’s rainforest and new Cliffwalk before your voyage along Alaska’s dramatic coastline. This journey takes in the isolated capital of Juneau; Skagway, the gateway to the Klondike; the iceberg-strewn waters of Glacier Bay National Park; and the salmon capital of the world, Ketchikan, before returning south to Vancouver.

Your journey then continues east to Montréal and Québec City, the only walled city in North America. En route to Canada’s capital, Ottawa you will stop in at Parc des Chutes de la Chaudière to witness the spectacular waterfalls and from Ottawa, cruise the beautiful Thousand Islands region heading for Canada’s largest city, Toronto followed by the spectacular Niagara Falls.

Crossing the border to New York State via the Rainbow Bridge you will then travel through the rolling Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania before arriving into Lancaster, home to the Amish and Mennonite communities and followed by Washington D.C. where you will tour the incredible monuments and buildings including the White House. Finally, you will travel north to Philadelphia before finishing in New York City and Boston.

Day 2: Victoria - Butchart Gardens (B)
Wander at your leisure through the world famous Butchart Gardens. Enjoy 22 hectares of gorgeously manicured floral displays influenced by the Butchart’s world travels. Keep a look out for wildlife such as orcas, humpback whales and bald eagles as you sail by. Tonight, like every other night on board your magnificent ship, enjoy a dinner of mouth watering delights. Evenings on board your cruise ship glitter with choices – catch a musical production starring performers from Broadway productions in the show lounge or visit one of the many lounges featuring live music. For a quiet night perhaps catch the feature movie at the theatre or in the privacy of your own cabin.
Day 16: Juneau, Alaska’s Capital (B,L,D)
Surrounded by the Gastineau Channel, the Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefields, Alaska’s capital is famed for its scenery and isolation. Juneau is accessible only by air or sea so the best way to arrive is by luxury cruise. Explore the lush Tongass National Forest; or journey above on Mount Robert’s Tramway; or learn the city’s Gold Rush story; or drop into the Red Dog Saloon; or visit the fascinating Alaska State Museum (shore excursions are at own expense).
Day 17: Skagway (B,L,D)
Cruise into Skagway, the gateway to the Klondike and a featured setting of Jack London’s book, ‘Call of the Wild’. Enjoy plenty of free time to go ashore and stroll along the weathered boardwalks admiring the shop front façades, reminiscent of the gold rush era.
Day 18: Glacier Bay (B,L,D)
Early this morning, enter the iceberg strewn waters of Glacier Bay National Park. Marvel at the glacial ice wall carved by nature in this World Heritage listed site. This breathtaking scenery will be brought to life by a National Park Service Ranger as they help you spot wildlife and interpret the glacier activity and surrounding environment. Glacier Bay has more actively calving tidewater glaciers than anywhere else in the world.
Day 19: Ketchikan (B,L,D)
Arrive into picturesque Ketchikan, salmon capital of the world. Stroll along the elevated boardwalk by the historic Creek Street buildings; or take a self guided tour of the town; or experience a bear adventure by float plane (shore excursions are at own expense).
Day 20: Scenic Cruising (B,L,D)
Relish in the bow to stern luxury of your cruise ship as you journey south through the spectacular waterways.
Day 21: Vancouver - Montréal (B)
