This 21 day tour witnessing beautiful scenery and Scandinavian hospitality includes Oslo, Copenhagen and Helsinki, plus a ten day cruise on the Baltic Sea.

Your 21 day tour begins in Oslo, the capital of Norway where you will visit its beautiful National Theatre, City Hall and Akershus Castle, which dates back to the late 1290s. From Oslo you will travel to the Hanseatic fishing port of Bergen, where you will dine at one of the most famous fish restaurants in Bergen before enjoying a ride on the world-famous Flåm railway.

On arrival in Balestrand you will visit one of the most impressive outcrops of the icefield, and be taken by ‘trollcar’ up to Briksdalsbreen for a view of the ice and stunning waterfalls. Your journey continues to Geiranger where you will enjoy a cruise, sailing close to the ‘Seven Sisters’, ‘The Suitor’ and ‘The Bridal Veil’ waterfalls. Leaving the west coast of Norway, you will travel through the highest mountain range in the country before returning to Oslo for your short flight to Copenhagen, where you will board your luxury ship for your ten day cruise on the Baltic Sea.

You will cruise to the Estonian capital, Tallinn, and view the medieval walls and towers of its Old Town, before travelling to St. Petersburg in Russia, a city founded by Peter the Great who call it his ‘window on Europe’. You will have the chance to visit the Hermitage Museum, home to a host of art from renowned artists including Raphael and Rembrandt.

From St. Petersburg you will cruise to the capital of Finland, Helsinki, one of Europe’s most scenic capitals, before continuing to the Swedish capital of Stockholm, which extends across 14 islands and is considered one of the world’s most beautiful capital cities. From Stockholm you will visit the German cities of Berlin and Hamburg before concluding your adventure back in Copenhagen.

Day 1: Oslo (HD)
Welcome to Norway. You will be met at the airport by your Scenic Tours Representative and transferred* to your centrally located hotel. This evening we will enjoy a highlight dinner in town.

Day 2: Oslo (FB,D)
Today our Included sightseeing starts with a gentle stroll to the pretty National Theatre and Oslo’s City Hall. From here we walk up to Akershus Castle dating from 1290. SCENIC ENRICH This afternoon we drive to the Bygdoy peninsula, home to three famous museums we will visit that honour the rich nautical heritage of the Norse race and its warrior ancestors; the Viking Ship Museum, the Kon-Tiki museum and the Fram polar ship.
Day 3: Oslo - Bergen (FB,D)
Today we depart Oslo and set off through the scenic Hardangervidda. The scenery becomes progressively more rugged as we approach fjordland and the Hanseatic fishing port of Bergen.

Day 4: Bergen (FB,HD)
Today we visit Troldhaugen. Joining a local guide we explore Bergen. SCENIC FREE CHOICE This afternoon choose from: (1) a journey up the funicular railway 1,050 feet to Mt. Floien for a bird’s eye view of the city and fjord; or (2) visit Bergen Aquarium. Tonight we enjoy dinner at one of the most famous fish restaurants in Bergen.
Day 5: Bergen - Balestrand (FB,D)
This morning start your journey by train from Bergen to Mydral where we change trains and continue on the world-famous Flåm railway. On arrival into Flåm we enjoy a scenic fjord cruise to Balestrand.

Day 6: Balestrand - Geiranger (FB,D)
SCENIC ENRICH We will visit one of the most impressive outcrops of the icefield, where a truly memorable experience awaits as we are taken by ‘trollcar’ up to Briksdalsbreen for a panorama of a sea of ice and stunning waterfalls.

Day 7: Geiranger (FB,D)
Our excursion today includes a cruise of Geiranger fjord. We sail close to the ‘Seven Sisters’, ‘The Suitor’, and ‘The Bridal Veil’ waterfalls. This afternoon we traverse the 11 hairpin turns of the Trollstigen, or Troll’s ladder road.
Day 8: Geiranger - Lillehammer (FB,D)
We farewell the west coast of Norway and travel through the highest mountain range in Norway. We enjoy a visit to the beautifully maintained medieval stave church in Lom, before continuing to Lillehammer.

Day 9: Lillehammer - Copenhagen (FB)
This morning we visit Maihaugen. We journey to Oslo Airport for our short flight to Copenhagen.

Today join us for an Included city tour of Copenhagen. Choose one of the following Included SCENIC FREE CHOICE tours: (1) a harbour cruise of the romantic canals; or (2) a visit to the Carlsberg brewery. Day 11: Cruise Embarkation - ms Eurodam (FB,D)
This morning is at your leisure before being transferred to board the luxurious ms Eurodam. Set sail into the Baltic Sea this evening.

Day 12: At Sea (FB,L,D)
Spend a leisurely day making the most of the ship’s extensive facilities, or simply relax on deck as we cruise east towards the Baltic States.
Day 13: Tallinn (FB,L,D)
Medieval walls and towers still stand tall in Tallinn’s Old Town. Perhaps you can visit the impressive museum in Baroque Kadriorg Palace or drop in at Alexander Nevsky Cathedral to find inspiration in the gleaming mosaics and icons.
Day 14: St. Petersburg (FB,L,D)
A rich imperial past awaits in the city founded by Peter the Great, who called St. Petersburg his “Window on Europe.” The stunning Hermitage Museum hosts a renowned art collection of masters including Raphael and Rembrandt. Other sights include the babbling fountains of Peterhof and the Amber Room at Catherine’s Palace.           
Day 15: St. Petersburg (FB,L,D)
Your floating hotel sails at 6.00pm, giving you another full day to soak up the sights of St. Petersburg.           
Day 16: Helsinki (FB,L,D)
Shaped by its bays and offshore islands, Helsinki is one of Europe’s most scenic capitals. Stroll among stylish shops and open-air restaurants on Esplanade Street and Senate Square. Explore the Rock Church, built entirely of stone. Take an archipelago cruise or hear a Sibelius concert as you enjoy this most sophisticated of cities. 
Day 17: Stockholm (FB,L,D)
Stockholm extends across 14 islands and is considered one of the world’s most beautiful capitals   
Day 18: At Sea (FB,L,D)
The perfect opportunity to do as little as you please or indulge in all your favourite on-board activities, as we head south towards Germany.
Day 19: Berlin (Warnemünde) (FB,L,D)
In Warnemünde wander the Alte Strom (Old Channel), with its various restaurants, pubs and traditional fishing boats. Alternatively, head into Berlin, which has visibly flourished since the fall of the Wall in 1989. The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, new Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and “Checkpoint Charlie” are all here.           
Day 20: Hamburg (Kiel) (FB,L,D)
A university town, naval base, and Germany’s largest passenger port, Kiel offers the perfect blend of urban charm, culture and history. Kiel also serves as your gateway for Hamburg, a beautiful port city on the Elbe River.
Day 21: Copenhagen - Cruise disembarkation (FB)
Transfer* to the airport for your onward or homebound flight. (Please book flights after 12 noon).
