(34 days, Moscow - Amsterdam, 2015)
Russia, Baltic States, Eastern Europe Tour & Jewels of Europe River Cruise
This 34 day tour includes 20 day land tour from Moscow to Prague, before enjoying a 14 night river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam on board a Scenic 'Space-Ship'.

Moscow to St. Petersburg
A journey through Russia is an unforgettable contrast of the extraordinary (ballerinas, Fabergé eggs and St Basil’s Cathedral) and of controversy (the fall of the Romanovs and remnants of the Soviet era), from Moscow's reminders of its imperial and Soviet past including Red Square and the Kremlin plus its cultural icons including the famous Moscow Circus, to the beautiful and cosmopolitan St. Petersburg, a showcase of canals, baroque and neoclassical architecture, extraordinary history and rich cultural traditions.

Tallinn to Vilnius
Discover the heart of the beautiful Baltic States, including Tallinn, the medieval Estonian capital filled with cobblestone streets, manor houses, folkloric legends and ancient castles; Pärnu, Estonia’s summer capital, famous for its mud baths and spa resorts; Lithuania’s capital, Vilnius, which is on the World Heritage List for its rich legacy of gothic, renaissance, baroque and classical buildings including the 14th century Trakai Island Castle; and Riga, the vibrant capital of Latvia, which boasts the baroque Rastrelli-designed Rundale Palace and Europe’s pre-eminent collection of art nouveau architecture.

Poland is a proud country bearing both the tears and triumphs of its turbulent history. There is plenty to discover in the resilient capital, Warsaw including the Palace of Culture and the Chopin Memorial.

Berlin, the cosmopolitan German capital, may have experienced some of history’s most radical changes, but today it is widely known for its knowledge, tolerance, museums, palaces, street art, architecture, and energetic approach to the arts and culture. Nearby is beautiful Potsdam, former residence of the Prussian kings.

A major cultural centre, the Czech capital, Prague is also one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Built on nine hills along the Vltava River, Prague is a showcase of extraordinary architectural diversity whose history began with the founding of Prague Castle in the 9th century. Today its extensive historic centre is World Heritage-listed.

Budapest to Amsterdam
Uncover the treasures of the grand waterways of Europe on an unforgettable river cruise along the Danube, Rhine and Main rivers, whose banks are graced by the incredible imperial cities of Budapest, Vienna and Amsterdam. A showcase of medieval castles, vistas of vine covered slopes, the breathtaking Rhine Gorge, and charming villages; this route includes the beautiful Austrian cities of Melk and Linz; the wine town of Dürnstein in the stunning Wachau Valley; historic Cologne, Würzburg on the ‘Romantic Road’; baroque Bamberg; Nuremberg, famous for its beer and bratwurst; Regensburg, the largest preserved medieval city centre in Germany; and Passau, the ‘City of Three Rivers’.
