This extraordinary 21 day tour takes you from Uluru to Broome, including visits to Ayres Rock, Alice Springs and the World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park.
Your 21 day tour begins in Uluru, where you will spend three days exploring the incredible Red Centre including a visit to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Next you will travel to Kings Canyon where you will walk along the rim or stroll along the canyon floor, before continuing your journey to Alice Springs and enjoying a visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the Old Alice Springs Telegraph Station and Anzac Hill. From Alice Springs you will travel to Tennant Creek and visit the Devil’s Marbles before continuing on to Katherine for a visit to the incredible Katherine Gorge, where you will cruise two of the 13 gorges carved through ancient sandstone by the Katherine River. Next you will visit the Kakadu National Park and witness the Nourlangie Rock, famous for being covered in Aboriginal rock art. You will then travel to Darwin, where you will spend three days exploring this vibrant city before departing for Western Australia. The West Australian leg begins with a cruise on the Ord River before continuing onto the acclaimed El Questro Wilderness Park. Next admire the striking colours of the massive Carr Boyd Ranges as you travel to the world’s largest single producer of diamonds, the Argyle Diamond Mine. Finally, travel through Halls Creek and Fitzroy Crossing on your way into Broome, where you will spend two days exploring the city and its famous Cable Beach.

Day 2: Uluru (FB,HD)

Day 4: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs (FB,D)

Make your way to Darwin. Travel into Western Australia as the expanse of the Kimberley fully reveals itself with a visit to the magnificent Lake Argyle, the largest lake in the southern hemisphere. Enjoy one of the highlights of the tour as you take in the spectacular scenery on your Included SCENIC ENRICH cruise. Journey down the Ord River to Kununurra where you will pass beneath immense gorge walls, view peaceful river scenery and have the opportunity to spot some of the region’s incredible wildlife including crocodiles and an abundance of birdlife.

Day 15: Kununurra - El Questro (FB,D)
From the air, the Bungle Bungle Range is an awesome sight. Rising 300 metres out of the plain, the orange and black stripes of these massive sandstone structures are breathtaking. Today there is the opportunity to: (1) take a scenic flight over the World Heritage-listed Bungle Bungle Range or (2) substitute today’s touring with a full day Bungle Bungles tour (both at additional expense). This morning, Included in your tour is a visit to Mt Romance Sandalwood Factory where you will learn more about the region’s famous fragrant timbers. Then enjoy an Included tour of the enormous Ord River Irrigation Scheme that has transformed the semi-desert cattle country to a luscious, year round agricultural area and farmland. You then follow the spectacular Cockburn Range before reaching Wyndham. Stand in awe at the vast expanse of land that sits before us at the Five Rivers Lookout before continuing to the acclaimed El Questro Wilderness Park, a million acre park set in the stunning outback Kimberley landscape.

Day 16: El Questro Wilderness Park (FB,D)
Today you will explore the rugged beauty around El Questro with your Included SCENIC FREE CHOICE choose from: (1) a magnificent cruise through the towering escarpments of Chamberlain Gorge; or (2) enjoy a complete outback experience learning about traditional culture and the history of El Questro; or (3) join a park ranger in spotting the varied bird life throughout the diversity of ecosystems in the park; or (4) relax with a picnic hamper lunch and enjoy the ambience of this amazing wilderness park, take a walk to Emma Gorge or relax in the tranquil setting of the resort. This afternoon is free to relax in the surrounding area or go for a refreshing swim in the waterhole.
Day 17: El Questro Wilderness Park - Halls Creek (FB,L,D)
Admire the striking colours of the massive Carr Boyd Ranges as you travel to the world’s largest single producer of diamonds, the Argyle Diamond Mine, for an Included private guided tour of the open cut mine and lunch. See the exquisite diamonds on display including the rare pink diamond. Continue to Halls Creek, the oasis of the Kimberley and a genuine outback town which sits on the northern edge of the Great Sandy Desert.

Day 18: Halls Creek - Fitzroy Crossing (FB,D)

Visit the extraordinary China Wall before continuing to your Included SCENIC ENRICH visit to Yiyili Aboriginal Community School for a chance to meet the small community of Aboriginal students and view the local artwork (subject to availability). Embark on an Included cruise of the exquisite Geikie Gorge with its unusual white-banded walls. Keep your eye out for local wildlife including sawfish, stingrays and freshwater crocodiles.
